Day 01 : Mumbai

Arrive Mumbai. Meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax.

Day 02 : Overnight train

This morning, proceed for a half day city tour of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India, Fishing village at Cuffe Parade, Drive along Oval Maidan, Bombay University, High court building, Crawford market, Queens Necklace – also known as Marine Drive , Dhobi Ghat and Mahatma Gandhi residence ( Mani Bhawan ). ( Mani Bhawan is closed on Saturdays / Sundays and on all public holidays ). Later transfer to the rail station ontime to board Duronto Express leaving from Mumbai at 2015 hrs. Overnight on board the train.

Day 03 : Nagpur

Arrive Nagpur at 0720 hrs. Meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax. Later proceed to visit Deekshabhoomi – sacred monument of Navayana Buddhism and Dragon Palace Temple.

Day 04 : Fly out

Transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.

Early morning transfer to the rail station and board Tapovan Express leaving at 0615 hrs. Arrive Aurangabad at 1305 hrs. Meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax. Later proceed for Aurangabad city tour visiting Bibi-Ka- Muqbara, Daulatabd Fort, Panchakki and Himroo Weaving Center. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 : Aurangabad

After breakfast, drive to Ajanta Caves ( 100 kms ) northeast of Aurangabad in the Waghora valley. They are exclusively Buddhist, unique in that they combine three forms of Art – architecture sculpture and painting. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. (Ajanta Caves are closed every Mondays).

Day 05 : Fly out

Morning visit Ellora Caves – 30 kms from Aurangabad lie the finest rock cut cave temples of Ellora – 10th & 11th century, which encompasses the three religion – Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. (Ellora Caves are closed every Tuesdays). Later transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.

Arrive Nagpur at 0545 hrs and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed to visit Deekshabhoomi – sacred monument of Navayana Buddhism and Dragon Palace Temple.

Day 07 : Fly out

Transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.

Day 01 : Delhi

Morning fly Delhi / Lucknow. Arrive Lucknow airport and drive to Balrampur ( 153 kms ). Arrive Balrampur and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Balrampur.

Day 03 : Lumbini

Morning pray at Sravasti, Sahet Mahet and drive to Lumbini ( 230 kms ). Enroute we shall halt at the Indo-Nepal Border for Immigration Formalities. ( It is important to have a double entry or Multiple entry Visa for India ). Arrive Lumbini and offer Prayers at the birth place of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay at your hotel in Lumbini.

Day 04 : Lumbini

Offer Prayers and relax in Lumbini. Overnight stay at your hotel in Lumbini.

Day 05 : Kushinagar

Morning drive to Kushinagar ( 110 kms ). Enroute halt at the border for Immigration formalities. Pray at Kushinagar. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kushinagar.

Day 06 : Patna

Drive to Patna ( 234 kms ). Arrive Patna and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Patna.

Day 07 : Bodhgaya

Day free for personal religious activities. Overnight stay at your hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 10 : Varanasi

Early morning boat ride on river Ganges. Later city tour of Varanasi and Sarnath. Overnight stay at your hotel in Varanasi.

Day 11 : Delhi

Transfer to the airport and fly Varanasi / Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

Day 12 : Delhi

Early morning proceed for a full day tour of Agra ( 200 kms one-way ). Visit the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Return to Delhi for overnight stay at your hotel.

Later transfer to Jalgaon Railway Station to connect Karnataka Express Train leaving at 1645 hrs. Arrive Bhopal at 2330 hrs and transfer to the hotel. ( Ajanta caves are closed every Mondays).

Day 06 : Agra

Visit The Sanchi Stupa. Afternoon board NDLS Shtabadi Express Train leaving at 1530 hrs. Arrive Agra at 2115 hrs and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 : Overnight train

Early morning visit Taj Mahal at dawn. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit The Red Fort and Itmud Ud Daulah. Evening transfer to Tundla rail station to board overnight train to Varanasi leaving at 2100 hrs. (Taj Mahal is closed every Fridays). Overnight onboard the train.

Day 08 : Varanasi

Arrive Varanasi at 0600 hrs. Meet, assist and transfer to the hotel and check-in. Later visit Sarnath – the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Afternoon proceed for Varanasi city tour. Evening view Aarti ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay at the hotel. ( Sarnath Museum is closed every Fridays ).

Day 09 : Bodhgaya

Early morning proceed for Boat ride on River Ganges. Later drive to Bodhgaya (250 kms ). Arrive Bodhgaya and check – in at the hotel. Bodhgaya is the most sacred place for Buddhists as it has a Peepul tree under which Gautama The Buddha attained enlightenment some 2500 years ago.

Day 10 : Bodhgaya

Day free for personal religious activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 11 : Patna

After breakfast drive to Patna ( 127 kms ). Enroute visit Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda. Arrive Patna and check-in.

Day 12 : Kushinagar

Morning drive to Kushinagar ( 213 kms ). On arrival check – in at the hotel. Later, visit the Rambhar Stupa – which marks Lord Buddha’s cremation ground followed by a visit to Mahaparinirvana temple.

Day 13 : Lumbini

Drive to Lumbini ( 230 kms ). Enroute we shall halt at the Indo-Nepal Border for Immigration Formalities. ( It is important to have a double entry or Multiple entry Visa for India ). Arrive Lumbini and offer Prayers at the birth place of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 14 : Lumbini

Offer Prayers and relax in Lumbini. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 15 : Balrampur

Morning drive to Balrampur ( 213 kms ). Enroute halt at the border for Immigration formalities. Pray at Sravasti, Sahet Mahet.

Day 16 : Delhi

Drive to Lucknow ( 160 kms ) and fly to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax.

Day 17 : Delhi

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting The Red Fort ( closed every Mondays ) Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Humayuns’ Tomb, Qutub Minar and drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, Raj Path, India Gate, Connaught Place and Janpath. Rest of the day at leisure / free for shopping.

Day 16 : Fly out
