Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai

Arrive Mumbai. Transfer to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mumbai.

Day 02 : Mumbai

This morning after breakfast proceed for an excursion to Elephanta Caves across Mumbai harbour by boat. Afternoon city tour of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India, Afghan Church, Victoria Terminus, Crawford Market, a drive past Marine Drive, Jain Temple and conclude the tour by a visit to Mani Bhavan, which was Mahatma Gandhi’s house in Mumbai for 14 years. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mumbai.

Day 03 : Mumbai – Bangalore

Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport and fly to Bangalore. Arrive Bangalore and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vidhan Sudha, Government Secretariat, Lal Bagh and botanical Garden. Evening free. Overnight stay at your hotel in Bangalore.

Day 04 : Bangalore – Mysore (140 kms)

This day after breakfast drive to Mysore, enroute visit Srirangapatnam, the Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan built in 1784 AD. Arrive Mysore, check and relax. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mysore.

Day 05 : Mysore

After breakfast visit Mysore Palace, Chamudi hills and Mysore bazaar. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mysore.

Day 06 : Mysore – Hassan (115 kms)

Today after breakfast drive to Hassan, enroute we visit Shravanabelagola. Arrive Hassan and check in. Later visit Belur and Halebid temple complexes. Overnight stay at your hotel in Hassan.

Day 07 : Hassan – Coorg (122 kms)

Morning after breakfast drive to Coorg also known as the Scotland of India. Arrive Coorg and check in. Later visit coffee plantations and scenic beauty in and around Coorg. The Coorgies are known to be the descendents of Greek soldiers. Overnight stay at your hotel in Coorg.

Day 08 : Coorg – Calicut (136 kms)

After breakfast drive through the thickest rainforest of India, to Calicut (Kozhikode). Arrive Calicut and check in. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Calicut.

Day 09 : Calicut – Cochin (225 kms)

After breakfast drive to Cochin. Arrive Cochin and check in. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cochin.

Day 10 : Cochin

Morning after breakfast proceed for a city tour of Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace, Jew Town, Chinese fishing nets and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. In the evening enjoy Kathakali, an ancient religious dance form in Kerala. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cochin.

Day 11 : Cochin – Alleppey ( Houseboat – 56 kms )

After breakfast, drive through the countryside to Alleppey jetty and board the Houseboat.Overnight stay on board the Houseboat.

Day 12 : Alleppey – Kovalam (175 kms)

After breakfast, disembark at the jetty and drive to Kovalam. Arrive Kovalam and check in. Evening at leisure to enjoy one of the finest beaches in the South. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kovalam.

Day 13 : Kovalam – Periyar (140 kms)

Morning after breakfast drive to Periyar. As you drive through the hills you will see thick rubber plantations, tea plantations and cardamom & pepper growing all along the road side. Arrive Periyar and check in. Overnight stay at your hotel in Periyar.

Day 14 : Periyar – Madurai (160 kms)

Early morning proceed for a boat / elephant ride. After breakfast drive to Madurai. Arrive Madurai and check in. Later visit the Meenakshi Temple built in the Dravidian architecture form of temple architecture. Overnight stay at your hotel in Madurai.

Day 15 : Madurai – Thanjavur – Pondicherry (324 kms)

Morning after breakfast leave for Thanjavur to visit the famous Brihadeshwara temple. Also visit the Museum which has one of the finest Bronze collections. Drive onwards to Pondicherry. Arrive Pondicherry and check in. Overnight stay at your hotel in Pondicherry.

Day 16 : Pondicherry – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (132 kms)

After breakfast we drive to Kanchipuram the erstwhile capital of the Pallava and Chola rulers. Later drive to Mahabaluipuram. Arrive Mahabalipuram and check in. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mahabalipuram.

Day 17 : Mahabalipuram

After breakfast visit the Group of five Rathas Temples, rock-cut monoliths named after the heroes of the Epic – Mahabharata. The rock carving depicting the penance of Shiva is one of the finest peace of stone carving and end the visit at the Shore Temple. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mahabalipuram.

Day 18 : Chennai – onward destination

After breakfast, drive to Chennai and visit the Saint Thomas Cathedral, Fort St. George and the High Court buildings. Later transfer to the international airport for journey to onward destination.
