Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 : Sightseeing of Delhi

After breakfast proceed for a full day tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Humayuns Tomb, Qutub Minar and India Gate. Drive past the Houses of Parliament and Janpath. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

Day 03 : Delhi to Jaipur (256 kms)

This morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur late afternoon and check in. Later proceed to the city centre for photographs. Watch the daily life of the Pink City, which truly is a photographer’s delight. Overnight stay at your hotel in Jaipur.

Day 04 : Jaipur

Morning after breakfast proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort. Ascend the fort on Elephant back. Afternoon visit Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace Museum and Royal Observatory. Evening free for shopping. Jaipur is a great place to shop for carpets, semi precious stones, blue pottery and bed spreads. Overnight stay at your hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05 : Jaipur to Agra (232 kms)

This morning after breakfast drive from Jaipur to Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri which was once the capital of Emperor Akbar for 14 Years. Arrive Agra check in and relax. Later visit Red Fort and Taj Mahal. Overnight stay at your hotel in Agra.

Day 06 : Agra to Khajuraho

Morning after breakfast transfer to the rail station and connect train from Agra to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and drive to Khajuraho ( 180 kms ). Visit Orchha enroute. Arirve Khajuraho and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 07 : Khajuraho to Varanasi

This morning after breakfast visit the erotic temples in Khajuraho. Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at your in Varanasi.

Day 08 : Varanasi

Early morning boat ride on the river Ganges . Return to the hotel for breakfast, relax and proceed for a city tour of Varanasi and Sarnath. Overnight stay at your hotel in Varanasi.

Day 09 : Varanasi – Delhi – Chennai

This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly Varanasi / Chennai via Delhi. Arrive Chennai and transfer to the hotel. Evening free. Overnight stay at your hotel in Chennai.

Day 10 : Chennai

After breakfast proceed for a half day tour of Chennai. Overnight stay at your hotel in Chennai.

Day 11 : Chennai to Pondicherry (310 kms)

Day 12 : Pondicherry to Tanjore (177 kms)

This morning after breakfast visit Pondicherry city and drive to Tanjore, enroute visit Gangaikondacholapuram and Chidambaram. Arrive Tanjore, check in and relax. Overnight stay at your hotel in Tanjore.

Day 13 : Tanjore to Trichy (54 kms)

Morning after breakfast visit Thanjavur (Tanjore) Palace and the Brihadeeshwara Temple. Afternoon drive to Trichy. Arrive Trichy and check in. Later visit the famous Rock Fort temple and Sri Ranganathaswamy temple. Overnight stay at your hotel in Trichy.

Day 14 : Trichy to Madurai (128 kms)

After breakfast drive to Madurai. Arrive Madurai and check in. This afternoon visit the Palace and Meenakshi Temple. Return to the hotel, relax a while and proceed to Meenakshi Temple once again to witness the night temple ceremony. Overnight stay at your hotel in Madurai.

Day 15 : Madurai to Peryiar (160 kms)

This morning after breakfast drive to Periyar. Arrive Periyar in the afternoon, check in and relax. The afternoon is free for independent activities. Overnight stay at your hotel in Periyar.

Day 16 : Periyar

After breakfast take a boat / elephant ride (subject to availability). Witness the wildlife that surrounds the lake. Afternoon walk in Periyar town and shop for some fresh spices which are produced in abundance in the region. Overnight stay at your hotel in Periyar.

Day 17 : Periyar to Kumarakom (185 kms)

After a relaxed breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Arrive Kumarakom and transfer to the hotel. Relax in tranquility and gaze at the greenery that surrounds the lake island. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 18 : Kumarakom

After breakfast, full day is free to relax or walk around the paddy field surrounding the lak. The adventurous can participate in the daily routines with the local paddy farmers. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 19 : Houseboat

This morning after breakfast board a houseboat that will take you through the famous backwaters of Kerala. Whilst cruising along you will witness a toddy factory, coir factory and rice boat making factory. Overnight stay on board the houseboat.

Day 20 : Drive to Cochin

After breakfast disembark from the houseboat at a point in Alleppey. Drive to Cochin ( 55 kms ). Arrive Cochin and check in. Afternoon proceed for a city tour of Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace, Jew Town, Chinese fishing nets and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cochin.

Day 21 : Cochin to Goa

This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly Cochin / Goa. Arrive Goa and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight stay at your hotel in Goa.

Day 22,23,24 : In Goa

After breakfast, three days at leisure in Goa to enjoy sun, sand and sea. Three overnight stays at your hotel in Goa.

Day 25 : Goa to Mumbai

This morning after breakfast proceed for an excursion to Elephanta Caves across Mumbai harbour by boat. Afternoon city tour of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India, Afghan Church, Victoria Terminus, Crawford Market, a drive past Marine Drive, Jain Temple and conclude the tour by a visit to Mani Bhavan, which was Mahatma Gandhi’s house in Mumbai for 14 years. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mumbai.

Day 26 : Mumbai
